I am a mixed media artist living in CT with my husband Steven Deming & our 2 dogs. I love to host art swaps and create art — especially with fabric. I enjoy authoring my blogs & my Web site, taking walks in the woods, reading, cooking, and spending time with people I love. I am enthusiastic, positive, caring, and I enjoy encouraging others; I feel I have a talent for this. I teach mixed media art classes and I love seeing students blossom, grow and have fun while being creative.
I have been stamping for 15 years. I have been creating art in one form or another since I was a small child and I was always encouraged to do so; thanks to my family! I have been altering books and journaling since the year 2000. I love paper, fabric, paint and embellishments. I would say I excel in working with fabric and I am also very good at collage, with a natural eye for colour and composition.ÊArt swaps are also another passion of mine. Alpha Stamps products caught my eye from the very beginning with their interesting, different designs; their fabric collage sheets are my favourite. Leslie Elledge was a participant in one of my art swaps as she was developing Alpha Stamps and her “Queen of the Last Minute” ATC design she did for my swap became one of the stamps she now sells at Alpha Stamps — so cool! ÊI am really so happy to be a member of the Alpha Stamps Design Team!
