New Halloween Art, Christmas
(Cool Cameos!) & Vintage Chains

More (Last Gasp?) Halloween Hey, I'm happy to continue Halloween all year, but not sure I'll find more come November 1st.

Beautiful "Poison Party" Shrine, at right, by Guest Designer Wendy Anderson, using both full-size Feathered Crows (which are back in stock). We also now have a smaller version of the flying crows (below). Click on the photo to see more pics of her shrine & links to other components.

Small Feathered Crows
Each approx. 2-1/4" long. These are made for floral arrangements (so they have wires in their legs that extend past their feet). Not the best hot-glue job (but easily touched up with a sharpie and/or a little trim with the scissors).

Vintage-Style Dropper Bottle
A nice, heavy, square bottle that looks vintage. Use with or without the eyedropper.

Injection Vials
These are odd little vials. They don't have a bottom, but that did make it possible for me to stuff those skull beads into the one in the photo (the skulls wouldn't fit through the neck... even if it was a "regular" bottle with a normal opening in the top). But if you glue them down in a shadow box no one will know how you miraculously got that model ship (or skull) into your bottle.

Apothecary Emporium 6x6 Paper Pads
24 double-sided sheets, 2 each of 12 designs. Designs include stripes, dots, damasks, spider webs, geometric and text patterns.

These papers are miniatures of the Apothecary Emporium 12" x 12" papers (featured in the last newsletter... a few shown at right that are available in both sizes), but the paper pads were just a little late to arrive.

Early-ish Christmas

2 Season’s Greetings Scrapbook Papers
12" x 12" double-sided scrapbook sheets, both with a turquoise blue & red palette.

One sheet with strings of ornaments on the front side (and a big, bold red snowflake pattern on the back). The other sheet has a collage of sweet, nostalgic toy ads.

2 Gold Foiled Scrapbook Papers
12" x 12" single-sided scrapbook papers, both with metallic gold printing.

Sparklers: Rose & Light Green
Flat-back cast acrylic flowers (non-adhesive and no holes so they will need to be glued down). Approx. 1/2" diameter.

Christmas Cameos
Flat-back resin cameos/cabochons in a beautiful palette. Each cameo with a different raised scene in ivory color.

Holiday Accessory Sheet Scrapbook Paper
12" x 12" double-sided scrapbook sheet with a fun, mid-century feel (and a red polka dot pattern on the back).

The 5 rectangular "cards" at the top are not-quite 2-1/2" wide.

Vintage Chains & Pendants

Filigree Egg Locket
Hinged locket with open-work filigree (perfect for a scented creation). Includes a bail at top for hanging on a chain/necklace.

5x3mm Chain
Antiqued, plated steel chain. Sold by the foot. The silver option or the silver chain directly below are good color matches for that hinged locket.

2 Silver Oxide Chains
Two chains in an industrial silver oxide finish. The chain with larger (flattened) links is 48" long. The links are approx. 6x9mm. The chain with the smaller oval links (also used on Teri Calia's lovely necklace) is 45" long and the links are approx. 5x7mm.

Large Antique Silver Cross
Antiqued silver-plated pewter, 43x28mm. Double-sided with "Tertium Millennium" on back (third millennium).

9x8mm Twisted Chain
Chunky. Double-links with an extra, decorative ring around each loop (where the links loop through each other). Gunmetal-plated over brass.

6mm Filigree Chain (far right)
Antiqued gold-plated brass. Linked like rosary chain but with filigree beads. Pretty.

Antique Silver Finished Necklaces - 2 lengths
Antiqued silver-plated brass, finished with a lobster claw closure (in two lengths: 18" and 36").

3.5x3mm links. More delicate than the 5x3mm chains.

Use the 36" option to resize as desired (or treat it as a yard of chain with a bonus closure).

Rhodium-Plated Charm Bracelet (at right)
7mm x 5mm oval links with 1-1/2" extender chain.

Bella’s Corner: Adhesives for Paper and Mixed Media

Leading off with 3D Glue Dots, used to such good advantage in Shannon Sawyer’s Palmistry shadow box at right.)

And a new glue is included in Bella's review: Glue N' Seal is an all-purpose glue and sealer that is waterproof. Use for decoupage, scrapbooking, card making, collage or any craft project where gluing or a sealing top coat is needed. Available in matte and gloss finishes.

Recommendation by Wendy Anderson: "For decoupage, I like the Glue N' Seal gloss version (it's not as shiny as Glossy Accents and dries faster than the Glue N' Seal matte version)."

Gorilla Glue
Works great on wood, stone, metal, ceramic and more. It is incredibly strong and is 100% waterproof. Precision glue pen, 3/4 oz. Has a precision applicator for small jobs or tight places. Liquid glue expands 3 to 4 times surface area when bonded together. A little goes a long way.
