Tins, tins, tins: Ancient Relic Tutorial + New Xmas Tins Ornament Kit

Oooh! Look at that beautiful "relic" (at right) created by Guest Designer Wendy Anderson using a Large Jeweler's Tin! And Wendy has graciously provided a step-by-step tutorial!

And while we're talking about Jeweler's Tins, there's a new Xmas Tins Ornament Kit: All based around the new Medium Xmas Tins Collage Sheet, with Santa and elf images sized for the medium Jeweler's Tins (3 included in the kit). And if you add some additional tins, there are enough images — and yummy beads, 6 colors/types of tinsel, and 2 vials of glitter — to make about 10 ornaments).

The kit includes a custom Christmas Bead Mix (Leslie's own mix), packaged in a small Jeweler's Tin. Predominantly gold, red and green (but also some green/grey pearls that picks up the Green Agate Glitter and some tiny berry red Czech glass beads).

The quick-and-easy ornaments using the kit, shown at right, are by Meghan Chapman and Leslie Elledge.

More photos and links to the individual collage sheets (sized for both the medium and large tins) are below.
